Success Strategy - SFI/Getresponse/Getresponse Leads

I will set out a step by step process which you can follow to start earning in SFI and eventually a couple of other programs. Multiple Streams Of Income is the key to long term success.

It may be very useful for you to print these pages as you set up your accounts.

Step One:

For this we will go with Getresponse. You can sign up for a free account with Getresponse but will eventually need to upgrade as the free account only allows 5 followup messages to be uploaded.

The Process.

I can't stress enough the importance of following up with prospects. I would imagine that my business would be nowhere near as successful as it has been were it not for following up using my various autoresponders. What's more it is now totally on AUTO-PILOT!

Below I will outline a step by step process for implimenting the steps above. You must have a Getresponse account to do this. If you already have a Getresponse account then read on:

You will need to set up a new responder at your Getresponse account(A free membership at Getresponse will allow you to copy just 5 of the followups to your account). Be careful not to overwrite any messages you have in your main account.

To set up a new responder log into your Getresponse account:

Then scroll down and click the "Create Campaign" button:

You should find yourself on the new campaign page.

Now follow the simple instructions below:

On this page you will see a box with the words "Campaign Name" with a field next to it. Put the name of your campaign in this. Name it something that you will recognise when you want to access it to add leads to this series. The campaign name must be in all lowercase letters ie sfiprospects2 NOT SFIPROSPECTS2 or SFIprospects2:

In the "Name" and "Email" boxes add your name and email. They may already have been inserted as you reached the page.:

In the "Reply To" field add in an email address that you want those on your campaign list to reply to. This can be your main email address or an email address set up specifically for your SFI contacts. You could put your SFI email in this field:

In the "Title" field put in the title of your campaign (ie. SFI Prospects Campaign #1):

In the "Description" field put in your campaign description(ie. This is the responder to which I will add leads to convert home business prospects to SFI affiliates):

Click the "Create a New Campaign" button:

NB:For further explanations of the above fields click the ?s next to each field:

That's it! Well done, you have created your new campaign but do not click away from the "Congratulations" page just yet. Now you need to add my followup messages. Don't worry about the Warning message about not personalizing your confirmation message. This can be done at a later date:

On the "Congratulations" page under "You can start with:" click the "Preloading Messages" link.

Import my SFI followup messages from my Getresponse account to yours.

In the left hand side "Source" box next to the "Campaign" field put "sfiprospects1@getresponse.com"(Without the quotation marks).

In the left hand side "Source" box next to "Custom Variables" check the box.

In the left hand side "Source" box next to "Message type" choose "follow-ups" if it is not already there.

Click the "login" button. If a "Password" field appears or is needed enter "sfi123"(Without the quotation marks) for the password.

You should now see a list of my SFI Follow Up messages.

Select all the messages by clicking the top box or choose the individual messages that you want to copy.

At the top of the "Destination" box next to "Choose Campaign" select the name of the campaign that you want the messages copied to (This is the campaign you set up in the first part of this tutorial ie sfiprospects2). Please be careful not to choose a current campaign(ie your 400 day PIPS campaign) as the next step will overwrite any messages you have.

In the right hand side "Destination" box next to the "Message type" choose "follow-ups" if it is not already there.

Click the copy button

The messages should now be copied from my campaign to yours. If you like you can change the days at which your SFI Affiliates will receive your messages:

Click the save settings button to save the messages to your account:

That's it! Well done, you have created your new campaign. Now you need to customise them with YOUR affiliate IDs and personal info. To do this follow the remaining steps:

Adding Your Variables To Getresponse

This means that I can set up an email campaign, you can upload them and by adding YOUR variables you change links in the messages automatically without having to change every message manually or individually.

For example one affiliate id in your Getresponse messages may look like this http://www.[[pre_sfi_id]]/free
By going and inserting a variable in the [[pre_sfi_id]] field of the "variables" section of Getresponse you can automatically change this link in your followups. In this case I would insert quickinfo247.com/235051 in the [[pre_sfi_id]] field.

Now lets see how we add your "variables" which effect every message in your followups.

Please note: If you are not a member of any of these programs then it is important that you leave something in the variable fields otherwise there will be dead links in your emails.

Steps:
Along the top of your Getresponse page run your mouse over the "Subscribers" link, scroll down to "My Subscribers" and then across and click "Predefined Fields":

You should now be on the "Variables" page. We need to change each one of these to your info. We do this by clicking on the edit button, making the necessary change then clicking "save":

Here is a list of what each variable relates to and how to add YOUR info:

• domain_url = This is your main domain name. You can basically put any website address here. If you own a Plug In Profit Site then it is a good idea to enter this URL. You can get your own website here. To add YOUR info: Click the Edit button then make the changes in the "Value" box then click save.
• msn_messenger = This is your MSN Messenger id for instant messaging and communicating with your team. If you don't have an idea then download the software and get one MSN Messenger. To add YOUR info: Click the Edit button then make the changes in the "Value" box then click save.
• plugin_url = This is your Plug In Profit Site affiliate domain name. If you dont have one then leave this and move on to the next step. In the "Predefined Value:" box add YOUR Plug In Profits affiliate full url and affiliate number(ie http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/main-10). To add YOUR info: Click the Edit button then make the changes in the "Value" box then click save.
• postal_address = Put your full postal address here. You MUST do this in order to comply with spam laws. To add YOUR info: Click the Edit button then make the changes in the "Value" box then click save.
• sfi_id = Put your SFI affiliate id in here in the same format as mine (ie.quickinfo247.com/235051.150). You can leave the keycode out if you like. The keycode identifies where your affiliates signed up from and will show in your SFI Tnet reports. This is a good way to track yours ads. To add YOUR info: Click the Edit button then make the changes in the "Value" box then click save.

Congratulations! That's it you have set up your SFI Prospects Followups now all you need to do is add some leads. Scroll down for instructions on how to add leads to your series.

Very Important

Test your emails to ensure that they contain all YOUR affiliate info. To do this click here now. This is very important.

There is absolutely no point having an autoresponder full of Killer, Profit Pulling followup messages unless you actually get someone to read them. The way we do that is by making sure that our series receives a steady feed of subscribers.

The easiest, and most affordable way to do this is by using the same autoresponder service that we just signed up for to acquire our leads for us. Not only can we buy them here but they will also automatically upload them to whichever autoresponder series we specify from within our account.

So here's how it's done:

Along the top of your Getresponse page run your mouse over the "Subscribers" link, scroll down to "Build Subscribers List" and then across and click "Buy Qualified Subscribers":

Once on the "Qualified Leads" page scroll down and choose your leads package. I suggest you choose the lowest priced package until you track your success. If you have added a SFI Keycode to your responder series in one of the previous steps then you should know exactly how many affiliates you get from buying this leads package. Once you have chosen your leads package click the "Click Here to Order Now!" button:

On the next page, choose your leads package again, add in your personal and Credit Card details then click the "Place Secure Order" button:

Once on the order "Congratulations" page scroll down past the further offers and click the "No, thanks. I want to set up my account right away" link.

Unless you have set up a previous leads campaign with Getresponse click the "Start your lead campaign" link

Now add in the username and password of your "Main" Getresponse account. This is the one that you signed up for Getresponse originally. Then clcik the "Click Here to Continue" button:

This is where you will insert the ad that your prospects will see before they signup for your list. For ideas and hints on how to write a powerful ad click the "Click Here" link.

Ok, now that you have an idea on how to write an ad let's insert the info. Firstly choose the series from within your getresponse account that you will send your prospects to. This is the Getresponse campaign that you created earlier(ie sfiprospects2).

Next, type in your ad title and description. It needs to be something catchy to draw subscribers. You can get an idea from my ad below but I suggest you all do not use this ad or we will all have the same advertising going on at once.

Once you have inserted your ad and are happy with it click the "Click Here to Continue" button:

That's it! You should now be taken to the completion page and the process is finished. Over the coming days and weeks subscribers will be sent to your Getresponse SFI prospects account.
